Hello, I’m 19, and I grew up playing Pillar Chase 2 on Roblox. I often think about the original era and how meaningful it was to me—playing with friends, running from the killers, learning the maps, trying different survivors and monsters, escaping at the last second, and making so many unforgettable memories along the way.

When I play it now, the game is still there, but the feeling is different. The people who were around during the original era have moved on, the community has changed, new characters and updates have been added, and I’ve grown up too. Back then, I never really imagined that something I enjoyed so much would eventually become something I looked back on as part of the past.

It makes me wonder why games like Pillar Chase 2 can’t stay exactly the same forever, with the same monsters, survivors, maps, mechanics, sounds, atmosphere, community, and feeling they had during the original era. Why do Roblox games have to keep updating and changing? Why do new characters and features have to be added when sometimes the older version already felt perfect?

Maybe that’s what makes Pillar Chase 2 special to me. It didn’t have to stay exactly the same forever for the original era to have an impact. When I go back and play it, I’m not only remembering the matches, maps, chases, and moments when I barely escaped. I’m remembering who I was when I first played it and what it felt like to experience the game back then.

The original era may be over, but it hasn’t disappeared. It still exists in the memories of everyone who was there, along with the old gameplay, characters, maps, videos, memes, and moments people shared. I can’t go back and experience Pillar Chase 2 exactly the way I did back then, but I can still appreciate what that era meant to me.

I just don’t get why it had to change and move on. I know Roblox games and communities have to grow eventually, but sometimes I wish the original Pillar Chase 2 era could have lasted a little longer. Does anyone else feel like Pillar Chase 2 has moved on from what it used to be, and why do you think the original era had to change?

Why did the Pillarchase 2 era have to end?? Genuinely miss is so much!!
