Da Gaulle: Resisitance - Battle of Montcornet accuracy?

This morning I watched De Gaulle: Résistance, overall I really enjoyed the film and felt it was fairly accurate, covering the main stories for a general audience. One thing I would like to ask is regarding the intro and the depicting the Battle of Montcornet. Is there any sources that the scene with him in a staff car distracting German tanks is true? I will be honest and say I have not read Julian Jackson’s biography, which I understand the film takes a lot of its source material from and whilst I do accept De Gaulle was an officer who lead from the front, it just seems a bit too unbelievable or maybe too biased of you understand.
