Going on a road trip in the US. What are the foodborne illnesses I need to be aware of? What foods should I be avoiding?

Heading off on a road trip in the southeast US, and with all the foodborne illnesses that have been breaking out, it's hard to keep track of which outbreaks are ongoing and which are solved. What's the current lists of foods/ingredients that I should be avoiding at this point?
