Zavier: A Judas Goat

SpoilerDiscussion

(Now before you read this, I am not very into religion, so I could be wrong, but I tried to find as many trustworthy sources as I could, though still keep an open mind. This is just meant to be some fun Food for Mind and not a whole debate.)

I was watching something when I heard the term "Judas Sheep" or "Judas Goat" I can't quite remember. But it intrigued me enough to search up what it meant.

I found it fit Zavier really well.

In Judas sheep and Judas goat, the name Judas is used as a modifier to designate:

– Literally: an animal, especially a sheep or a goat, used to lead others to slaughter;

– Figuratively: any person or thing used as a decoy to lure people into being caught, arrested, etc.

> Basically it's a word for something or someone that leads others to slaughter or their demise without being aware of it.

Even the way Judas Goats and or Judas Sheep match up with what Zavier does.

He does the same things over and over again expecting things to be different but trying to lead everything to a future he believes is possible, yet when it's his time.

There's always another Quincy to take his place. Continuing the cycle of slaughter.

He's the reason for why TJ exists in this timeline, just to stop him from going down the same path as he always has.

- He's always destined to fail yet he seems to bring the timeline closer to it's end with every attempt he makes to try to stop it.

In fact, Zavier even fits the more broad term and definition for it.

A Judas Goat will herd or lead the sheep to slaughter while it's own life is spared.

I honestly feel like this has something to do with Joseph in some way.

Zavier will herd and lead the sheep to slaughter, while Quincy is left alive—isn't it weird how Zavier is basically the only one left alive from his timeline?

What a Judas Goat is.

Which by all accounts is all alone, it's destined to repeat the same cycle over and over again because it doesn't know what to change. Just like Zavier.

But another pount due to the topic of Judas.

Specifically towards Suzie's betrayal with Zavier for another symbolic meaning.

Suzie did end up betraying Quincy, just like how Judas betrayed Jesus.

(Yes, I did just pull a Pomni Jesus Game Theory with this post as is and it's only getting worse)

With Judas handing over Jesus for 30 silver pieces, and how Suzie betrayed Quincy for her tastebuds.

- Considering the fact that it's implied that Zavier and Suzie were much closer or had something going on.

- I could even point to Judas kissing Jesus with Suzie doing that to Quincy at some point. Y'know with that kiss on Jesus, being more embued with teenager energy.

(Not saying that Judas kissing Jesus was romantic, just giving an idea of the symbolism between Judas and Suzie and betrayal, with the topic at hand being Judas Goat.)

I don't know why I suddenly decided to make a whole post about Zavier and Suzie with symbolic meaning using the Bible but I did.

And again, this is for fun, nothing to start anything.

Just some Food for Mind.

And please tell me if I got anything wrong.
