Rant!!!!!

What is this shitty rule of not letting 1st year students out before freshers, especially girls??!!

Until freshers, which is supposed to happen after a month or maybe even later, the rules are so impractical. We waste our time forming groups before going out for the tiniest things. We can't go to the shop, can't go for a walk, can't even go to classes, libraries, or anywhere we want without guards... who are rude and irritating as hell. Mann!!! Because we have been advised to go with them wherever we go, they refuse us for the most basic things, like going to take our parcel or going to the campus shop when they are feeling lazy themselves, scolding us and insulting us... if we talk back, they call us rude, badtameez, and what not.

Seniors I've met until now are assholes. There was this one guy from the 4th year CSE dept. who looked like a freakin' bear ( I know I am being disrespectful , but you get what you give) and told us to always wish him and always look down in front of seniors. I mean, grow up man, what's the ego about? If you want respect, earn it. The seniors on Reddit that I talked to are soooo nice and helpful, and now I am crying.

Also, the shit doesn't stop here. In spite of this immense protection, some girls have still been forced to do certain things by certain seniors (girls). Also, why is the freshers so late... please make it happen as soon as possible or I'll die. Someone help me get out of this mess, pleaseeeeee.

Can anyone help me out or advise me on how to cope up with this...please help.
