La rentrée

If you’re living in France, or headed this way with a kiddo in tow, you probably already know that next Tuesday marks the official end of summer and the beginning of the school year: La Rentrée.

I wrote a piece about reentry, raising a kid in France, and what it’s been like watching our now six-year-old become fluent in French after just 2.5 years here. We chose a small local private school, and the whole experience has given me plenty to think and write about.

I always love hearing how other families are navigating raising kids abroad, especially those figuring out the French school system along the way.
