Tips for solo ?

I installed nightreign and wanted solo experience cuz internet is limited where i live . although i wasn t even reaching the first night but now ive gotten better i m not that good of a souls player i played a bit of elden ring but still there s some progress but my only problem is efficiency i can clear camps and all but at the end of the firat night i can t go past lvl 7 and for nightlord ( i m still at tricephalos ) im hardly level 12 even if i optimize my path i still feel that something js wrobg can anyone give me advice ?
