Polyester couch fabric? Or another kid friendly option?

What are your thoughts on this?

I want to buy a couch with natural latex filling and no added PFAS in the fabric.

I could *technically* get a natural fiber fabric on the outside like linen or cotton, BUT that feels like I'm asking for a major headache. My kids will inevitably spill something. I will spill coffee probably. It just seems really RISKY.

The polyester fabrics are unfortunately plastic, but they are stain resistant without having PFAS added.

Is there another option that I'm not thinking of? Couch covers of some kind? Idk. We're buying a large sectional and it's expensive and I'm so tired of beating myself up over this.
