[5.5e 2024] [Online] Duel Capsules: The Dragon Lord's Regin

Game Time: Sunday 5PM EST, Session 0 being Next Sunday 06SEP26.
Player Experience: At least One year and have knowledge of Yugioh, at least to Duel Monsters.
System: DnD 5.5e. It fits better and I need to learn it more as a dm.

How we play: Discord for VC and Theater of Mind mostly for encounters. Maps on Roll20 or Owlbear if I feel there is a need. Would prefer you use sheets that you can edit and make yourself instead of things like DnD.
Themes: Heavier on the RP simply because I find combat is get boring and repetitive. Treasure Hunting, Exploration, Yugioh Inspired, and Intense Combat when it happens.
Slots: Between 3-5 Depending on who I get and Party comp. A smaller party will have more to do however they may need to cover more bases while a bigger group will be able to RP more with each other but will have a harder time.

What I need from Players: I need players who actually want to see this world and will explore instead of just make some Power-gaming character or Traumatized character, this isn't a super dark and Grity campaign so don't bring no edge lord into my game. I need players who have at least some experiences with Yugioh and know Duel Monsters or have the willingness to do the most basic research into it.

Game Hook:
"You and your group of friends have managed to win vacation to an island however during the flight to this luxury island, you all got caught in a massive storm and where transport to a different world. While also being taken to this different world, you are also given different bodies ranging from being humanoid with longer ears to dragon-like humanoids. You all are also equipped with golden arm cannons and belts alongside strange capsules that hold powerful monsters from a little card game called Duel Monsters. You and your friends soon find themselves in a quest as heroes to stop the dreadful Dragon Lord who brings chaos to this world with your reward being you get to go home with one wish being granted."
