Can you go off hrt and have a kid

Im ftm my wife is mtf. I can not have kids as I had a emergency hysto and nothing could be saved. My wife can’t ejaculate anything at the moment so I know she would have to go off hrt and I’m just wondering if anyone else has to have a child ? Not had a child BEFORE HRT. That is not relavent. Thanks
