Apparently the little things are what I forget most
Got a reminder today for a close friend’s birthday and, for a second, I genuinely couldn’t remember setting it up.
Then it clicked.
When I first got the Vocci, I’d mentioned the birthday while giving my agent some basic context about me and told it to remind me before it came around.
That was apparently enough(duh) it made me realize the stuff I actually want help remembering isn’t always the important stuff. It’s usually the tiny things I never bother putting into Notes.
“Uniqlo oversized tees fit me best in M.”
“Next haircut, #2 on the sides.”
“Mom hates cilantro.”
None of these feel worth stopping what I’m doing to write down properly, but somehow I still end up relearning the same things every few months.
I’m thinking of letting my agent use more of that kind of context around my calendar too. Not really as strict reminders, more like a small heads-up when something relevant is coming up.
That feels more useful to me than building another complicated automation.Just slowly offloading the boring little facts my brain refuses to keep. .Passwords are still staying out of it though. I need to retain at least one responsibility.
