Carless visit to Salt Lake

Good Morning everyone! I plan to visit Salt Lake City for the first time in a few weeks. I am visiting without a car, which seems manageable in the city itself with trains and green bike, but I would love to visit the Great Salt Lake as well. I see Great Salt Lake State Park and Antelope Island State Park are close, but they seem to either require a car or an expensive tour. Is there really no other way to get to the parks/lake? Any advice is appreciated, thank you!
