Passive health regen is one of the changes I really dislike about modern Overwatch

One thing I really miss from classic Overwatch is actually having to think about your health.

If you took a bad fight and escaped on 30 HP, that mattered. You either had to find a health pack, get back to your supports, or take the risk of carrying on while low. Knowing where the health packs were and when they respawned was genuinely useful map knowledge.

Now everyone eventually regenerates health just by staying out of damage, and I feel like it removes some of that decision making.

Health packs don't feel anywhere near as important, and there's also less urgency to find your healer after surviving a fight. You can just hide for a bit and start getting your health back.

I understand why Blizzard added it, especially for players who get stuck without healing, but personally I think it takes away a small but important part of what made classic Overwatch more team-focused.

Anyone else prefer the old system where, outside of specific hero abilities, you actually needed a health pack or a teammate to heal you?
