Early 30s M, new-ish to LA, looking to build a solid friend group
Hey everyone! I’m 33M, married, and relatively new to LA(grew up here, just moved back after a long time away).
My wife and I live in Sherman Oaks, and now that we’re pretty settled here I’ve been making more of an effort to actually meet people and build a social circle.
A little about me: I spent 13 years in the Air Force and got out last year, and I work in the security/protective services world now. I’m pretty active; I lift, run, and have been checking out some of the LA run clubs. I’m also always down for random outdoor stuff, checking out a new part of LA, grabbing food or a non-alcoholic drink, going to the beach, hiking, watching sports, or just hanging out somewhere with good conversation.
I’m married, no kids, and we have a gigantic dog who is basically our child haha. My wife and I do plenty together, but I realized after leaving the military and moving across the country that I miss having my own group of guys/friends to bullshit with, work out with, grab food with, or randomly text on a Saturday like “anyone want to go do something?”
I tend to get along well with people who don’t take themselves too seriously. My sense of humor definitely still has some military residue, so bonus points if you can handle some inappropriate jokes.
I’m in Sherman Oaks but I’m all over LA pretty regularly, especially the Valley, Westside, and South Bay. Open to meeting people individually or getting a little group together if a few people here are in the same boat.
If any of that sounds like your speed, say what’s up.
