What Tools do You Use for Trend Watching Across Social Media?

Together with my partner we have been working in a marketing agency for almost two years now. We are generally doing quite alright, the company experiences some growth, but it's steady.

This year, we started with targeting viral trends which lead us to scroll through social media feeds constantly to uncover what are the people following / discussing. We have tried AI to help us, but ChatGPT doesn't seem to be of any use, when a trend goes viral it is already too late for us, we have rather small clients with limited budgets. We can pay for better tools, just to outsource the human work.

Anyone ran into a similar problem in the past? What solutions did you try? Are there any available tools that help with such things? What are the prices?
