Difficulty of Silksong compared to Sekiro

Spoiler:angy:Discussion/Questions

I decided to get Hollow Knight 2 years ago because I knew several people who said it was really good. I enjoyed it overall and managed to get the first ending and I didn't find it nearly as difficult as Dark Souls 1, which I dropped at Sen's Fortress, though I did struggle with some bosses and haven't done much of the post game content. I bought Silksong on release day since it was cheap and I was excited for it, but I only put in about 6 hours (got to the first Lace fight) before putting it in my backlog to play other games.

I also bought Sekiro after really liking Elden Ring (it's my most played game on Steam), but it turned out to be more difficult than I could handle and I dropped it before the first main boss. Aside from Elden Ring, my favorite games right now are Hades 2 and Witcher 3.

For those of you who have beaten both Silksong and Sekiro (and fromsoft souls games in general), how would you compare their difficulty and challenge? The people I know who are huge fans of Hollow Knight don't play those games, they prefer other indies and Nintendo games. Does it even make sense to compare them this way or are they too different?
