Is there a way to blueprint curved foundations on console (xbox)?

I watched this video (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P\_NDew7OoCQ&pp=0gcJCYsCo7VqN5tD) but no matter what I try, I cant get the catwalk to rotate. I turned snapping off, but it just rotates in place, it doesn't rotate freely like in the video. I know he's using PC for the video and he says to use the mouse wheel to rotate it, but obviously I don't have a mouse on xbox, just a controller.

I found other videos with different techniques that work for making curves on console, but they don't work in the blueprinter because they take too much space to make, so I would have to do every single one by hand, every single time.
