I can code a complex backend database, but I have absolutely no idea how to market it. 🥲

The ultimate solo developer curse. I just finished building an unreleased web tool in the career niche. The database logic is done, the features work, and the unregistered browsing layouts are completely wrapped up on my laptop.

The programming part makes total sense to me. But now that it's time to launch and get users, I realize I am completely lost when it comes to growth.

For the other solo builders here—how did you survive the transition from pure coding to marketing? Did you focus on organic communities like Reddit and Quora, or did you find better traction somewhere else?

I would love to hear how you secured your first few sign-ups without a massive advertising budget!
