guilt-tripping

Okay so my mom is forcing me to go to church i say no most of the time because im not really a church guy i am a Chatolic that goes to a Christian church so today is sunday and she asked the question again then i said NO after that she said " i guess we wont be able to go to that place in your bday" since it's like a week away she said she's too embrassed to ask for a favor to my step dad because he was the one who introduced us to th church we go to now. Like isn't it better if somebody who don't wanna go not to than just going there knowing to yourself that you're forced to? Like is that what all Christianity is about? To live in fear for not doing something.
