how come cards are worth less then what I have to pay minting for them?

Was hoping to sell some ''hits'' as I'm losing interest in the game. But minting legendaries requires me to destroy a legendary and then I can sell that legendary for less then the minting costs???

why do people list them so low or am I missing something?
