Why is leo man so angry and resentful.

I Scorpio F ended up in a situationship with me Leo M friend. We were good friends before hooking up one night then it just never stopped it became a weekly thing… I’d like to say it was more then a situationship. Feelings were definitely involved on both sides. However, we got into an argument and he broke things off. He told me to leave him alone & I did. 6 weeks no contact. He broke no contact and we hung out but he came back angry and resentful… he doesn’t feel like the same friend or man I knew prior to the break off.. he used to care about my feelings, he cared about what I thought about him. Now he’s angry.. even told me he hated me.. I asked him where all this anger is coming from and I didn’t get an answer I’m wondering wtf happened???? I ended up crying on the phone and he started mocking my crying and becoming angry.. why did he come back if he has this much hate for me?
