Do you ever have something you really want to write down, but don't want attached to your identity?

I've always found that there's a weird middle ground online.

You can post anonymously on some platforms, but you're still posting into a particular community.

You can keep a private journal, but then nobody ever sees it.

Or you can post publicly, but suddenly you have to think about friends, coworkers, family, acquaintances, future employers, etc.

We started wondering whether there was room for something in between.

So we built WriteAnon — a small platform where you can write and share things without explicitly revealing who you are.

It could be something serious.

Something embarrassing.

Something you're overthinking at 2 AM.

A memory.

A confession.

A rant.

Or just something you've never been able to say to another person.

The point isn't really "content creation." It's having somewhere to put the thoughts you normally keep inside.

We're still very early and honestly trying to figure out whether this is useful to people beyond the idea sounding good on paper.

So I'd genuinely love to know:

Would you use something like this? What would stop you from using it?
