FIRE is for poor people

I never thought about it until realizing nobody I work with is interested in FIRE and the only person I know who is looking to retire early is just like me, born to working class immigrant parents. While everyone else seems to not care. Families are upper middle class and they will be able retire with inheritance.

For a lot of these people, they can retire whenever they want. Anyone born to wealth doesn't pick their major based on earnings or job stability, they do what they want because money just doesn't matter
