Can you feed hay from quality hay bales?

Hi! Can you feed rabbits hay from high quality 1st or 2nd cutting hay? I am thinking about the possibility of buying 3 or 4 bales at a time. I am highly knowledgeable about hay in general as someone who used to manage sporthorse farms but I wanted some insight from bunny people specifically. I would look for high quality, low-dust orchard grass, timothy, or alfalfa depending on what's recommended, and store somewhere it would not mold.

Just curious as it seems like there's big business for selling boxes/bags of timothy hay if there was any specific concern getting it from a local hay producer vs the more commercial options.
