Hate heat, hate sun, but love horses

Currently living with my parents in a city that is pretty much unaffordable at this point. I cannot wait to get as far away as possible but idk where to go next.

I absolutely cannot stand the heat. Anything above 70 degrees is uncomfortable at best, and at worst, I get physically sick in hot weather. I also hate the sun, my eyes are so sensitive they’ve burned multiple times on bright days. I am an autumn and winter person 110%. I love storms, snow, clouds and don’t mind a rugged lifestyle. That being said, I also want to own horses. I’ve thought about Alaska but I don’t know how hard it would be to have horses up there.

I want a place that:
- Is preferably in the US (for convenience only 🫤)
- Is not in the top 10 most expensive areas
- Has plenty of land available
- Lots of trees and wildlife
- MILD summers
- But also a REAL winter ❄️
- rural, but not so rural I can’t meet people and find a partner
- Vetmed work
- Horse friendly area
- less than 50% right wing

If I can’t have everything here, what would I need to give up?
