**A single chat on AI models like ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude consumes so much energy that a 100W Light bulb can glow around 20 minutes from same power used for providing you that response. Is this how we're going to solve climate catastrophe?**

And it's not only a serious concern. Additionally, these data centers require energy from fossil-fuel (coal) powered grid, millions of gallons of water to cool them down.

Probably you used to think that generating an AI response is something so easy that it demands nothing for a quick reply.

*Beyond that, there are large data centers setup mainly to train AI & the resource to provide the data is the user itself. It trains itself on what you watch, including your social media algorithm, your history and recent searches, promoting the same or relevant content you've visited earlier.*

Generally, we use AI to forecast weather, early disaster alert, emission & prediction of extreme weather events like heavy rainfall, heatwaves, high-speed winds, typhoon, tsunami, etc.

*We're continuously relying on AI even for basic tasks like Assignments completion, a basic question that even search engines can provide a response, submitting reports. Using AI for writing thesis which increases plagiarism.*

And we think that we're using AI at no cost. But it feeds on the data you provide it. Is it really free to use or we're just deceiving ourselves?

*When we don't want to come out of comfort zones & put some efforts, we'll rush towards AI. Problem is not in using AI. It's in the purpose and intent of user.*

**Unless we ask basic questions with honesty, why are we relying on AI unnecessarily without even real requirement? Is using AI uplifting you or just keeping you more deluded about yourself?** **Then AI becomes a tool for clarity & understanding, rather than a tool for deception.**

So, are you using AI to live with clarity or illusions?
