Has anyone actually had surgery with Dr. Alfredo Hoyos in Colombia? Looking for REAL experiences

I’m seriously considering traveling to Colombia for body contouring/liposuction, specifically Dr. Alfredo Hoyos, and I would really love to hear from people who have actually had surgery with him or other reputable surgeons in Colombia/Brazil.
I’m interested in lipo/body contouring, not necessarily trying to look extremely skinny or have an exaggerated BBL. I mainly want to improve my silhouette, create a smaller/more defined waist, and get better definition through my back/abdomen.
What keeps catching my attention is how dramatically different some of the before/afters coming out of Colombia and Brazil are. Some of the transformations are honestly incredible. I just don’t seem to see the same level of body sculpting in most Canadian or American surgeons’ before/afters.
But that’s also what makes me nervous.
Are these results actually realistic? Are photos heavily edited or selectively posted? Is there something fundamentally different about the techniques surgeons are using there? Are they simply more aggressive with liposuction/HD lipo and fat transfer?
And most importantly — is achieving that dramatic of a transformation actually safe?
If you’ve personally gone to Alfredo Hoyos, I would LOVE to know:
• What procedures did you have?
• Are you genuinely happy with your results?
• Did your results look like the transformations he posts online?
• How was your recovery and aftercare?
• Did you experience any complications, burns, fibrosis, irregularities, etc.?
• How long did you stay in Colombia afterward?
• How was communication once you returned home?
• What did everything cost?
• Would you choose him again?
I’d especially love to hear from people who are 6–12+ months post op, because I’m much more interested in long-term results than pictures taken a few weeks after surgery.
Also interested in experiences with other highly regarded Colombian or Brazilian body contouring surgeons.
I’m not looking for the cheapest option. Safety is extremely important to me. I’m just trying to understand why the aesthetic results seem SO different compared with what I’m seeing in Canada/USA and whether there’s a downside I’m not understanding.
