Pe+Ji (streams) vs Pi+Je (daemons)

Deep Theory Analysis

I've been thinking about intuition lately. Not i(N)tuition but intuition/hunches.

To me intuition seems to be more a combination of the judging and perceiving functions than the single N dimension.

My wife, for example, is ESTP (Se + Ti) and has the uncanny knack to know when a pet is sick before anyone else picks up on it. She might not immediately know why she knows. She just knows.

I, on the other hand, am INTP (Ti + Ne) and can usually see connections between things even before I can verbalize why the connection exists.

I've been thinking about it in software/hardware terms.

What if Pe (extraverted perceiving) is like an event/data stream? And what if Ji (introverted judging) is like a consumer designed to collect, process, store, and route massive volumes of real-time data?

And if Pe+Ji is streaming, what if Pi+Je is like a polling daemon? What if Je is a background process polling a huge Pi internal database for information related to a specific goal/task?

There's tons of fun conclusions from this framing.

INTP vs INTJ friction for example.

Lets say both are in a strategic planning meeting. The INTP begins generating multiple "what if" possibilities (Ne), while the INTJ's executive function (Te) tries to spin up a process for each of these possibilities. If the INTP introduces too many possibilities, it causes massive resource exhaustion for the INTJ. To prevent a system crash, the INTJ will actively try to identify the single "correct" process and kill off all the other auxiliary threads and close the loop. The INTP will of course interpret this as closed-mindedness.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this.
