Moved to a new city and figured out that I'm a terrible driver.

Need Advice

Midwest born and raised. They drive like it's mad Max out there and I'm absolutely accustomed to it. I drove basically to work and back and the grocery store down the road. Spent very little time driving on city streets and gobs of time on the interstate.

Moved to the Pacific Northwest and regularly drive other people. Also regularly drive city streets.
Turns out I'm by all reports a terrible driver. Sure at a certain level I consider some of the criticisms to be nitpicks that doesn't really matter but like the amount of overwhelm I feel at driving now.

I'm half tempted to just surrender my license because it's beginning to feel like everything I do is wrong.

Would a driving course be helpful or are some people just not made to drive? Seems like all I'm doing is irritating people for stuff that never mattered to anyone before.
