Suggestion for 4-5 days outside Tokyo in mid November

Hi everyone, I will start and end my trip in Tokyo in November, with 4-5 days in-between. Looking for suggestions on where to visit on those days that is not Hokkaido, Osaka, or Kyoto. Would like to go somewhere a bit quieter. A one-night onsen stay would be nice to have.

In the past few years, I have been to Aomori, Akita, Yamagata, Niigata (twice), Nikko, and Kagoshima. Had also done the touristy Hakone, Kawaguchiko, and Mt Fuji stuff.

Debating to visit the rest of the Tohoku prefectures, but not sure if autumn would be over in that region by then.
