Hi,
I have just completed the first figure for my first homebrew chapter, the Hellhounds. The photos are rough but hopefully convey the ideas.

Founded during the twilight years preceding the Badab War, the Hellhounds were intended to stand amongst the newest guardians of the Maelstrom Zone. Fate denied them that honour.

While the Star Phantoms bled upon Badab’s worlds, their successor Chapter was still gathering its strength, its companies incomplete and its fleet barely assembled.

By the time the Hellhounds were ready for war, the conflict was over. Lufgt Huron had escaped and the Astral Claws had become the Red Corsairs. The quarry had fled.

The Hellhounds are successors of the Star Phantoms and share several traits, in particular the use of melta or plasma weapons and a tendency towards funereal decoration, although the Hellhounds edge more towards the feral.

The armour of the Hellhounds is forged from ceramite treated with mineral compounds recovered from their home planet. In daylight it appears a deep oceanic turquoise. In darkness its edges catch the light with a pale blue sheen, giving rise to battlefield tales of spectral warriors wreathed in cold flame.

I hope you like them, let me know what you think!
