I Didn’t Have a Plan — I Just Gave Myself 30 Minutes a Day. Here’s What Happened

After the wipeout at table tennis and one too many all-nighters, I didn’t sit down and design some perfect health plan. I just told myself: 30 minutes a day, no excuses, see what happens in a week. That was it. No gym membership, no big lifestyle overhaul, just a small daily commitment I could actually keep.

Looking back, I think that low bar is exactly why it stuck. If I’d tried to fix everything at once — diet, sleep, workouts, stress — I probably would’ve quit in two weeks like every other time I’d tried to “get healthy.”

That low bar is basically the whole reason it worked — small enough that quitting never felt like a decision worth making.
