ATO audit after I made a complaint

I lodged my 2024/25 personal return 13 May 2026.

Nearing a month and not a peep from the AtO, i make a soft complaint just saying please hurry up. They called me and seemed like it was a funny situation and actually said "thanks for escalating that".

It got me thinking, if I left it would it be actually approved or something? Is that why they thanked me?
