Reacting to the edited versions of people

Have we become so smart that we now have the conscience to judge someone based on a 10–15 second clip? People don’t comment about the video, they go straight towards throwing hate to the ones in the video. While I type this I can remember so many instances I had in this sub as well, but I want to talk about the recent flood.
