Does anyone here have an extreme fear of job interviews?

Not just normal interview stress. I’ve actually cancelled multiple interviews and avoided applying for jobs just because I was terrified of having to do an interview. Even a phone interview makes me anxious enough to want to cancel.Its been over a year now, and the more I avoid them, the worse it gets. I genuinely feel like I’ve forgotten everything and that I’m going to sound stupid or incompetent.

Has anyone been through this? how did you get over the fear of interviews when avoiding them has become a habit?
