R5C annoying duplicate file naming conventions? Please help!

Shooting news style/ mini documentary pieces every week on the R5C and it’s becoming frustrating the same file naming. We edit on fast turnarounds and every day the camera resets the file numbering sometimes resets in arvo and night.
In a folder with the date and then all the files start at 001 so when dumping B-roll from a couple of days in a folder together theres always conflicts.

I have the file numbering set to continuous, we are a small team turning around a 30min community news show every week in ultra remote locations.

I just want every file to have a unique number without managing and adding after!
HELP!
