Shoutout to Suter, Kerr, and Hicklen

Took my son to the Rockies game today. He’s a huge Braves fan, but we’re out of state and don’t get to go to many games. He was really hoping to get a few autographs from players, but I warned him that it wasn’t very likely. Maybe 90 minutes before the game, Brent Suter and Ray Kerr came over and started signing autographs and talking with the kids lined up against the fence. They probably hung around for 15-20 minutes and it really looked like they were trying to make sure that none of the kids were missed. Kerr had them open one of the gates and took pictures for a few minutes. A little bit after they disappeared, Brewer Hicklen came out and signed for a few minutes. All seemed like wonderful guys and they absolutely made some kids’ days.

That and catching a ball that Ozzie tossed into the stands after warming up made today a game that my son will remember. The Murphy homerun and the Olson walk off were amazing, especially with Hicklen scoring the winning run.
