Welcome back to r/W211!

As we're all know, this subreddit has been locked for months, looking for new moderators. Now, me and five other members: u/780Beeb, u/mmahmo1, u/Ready-Parsley4394, u/djleo_cz, and u/QuestionSleep has been selected as the new mods of this subreddit--keeping this subreddit to stay alive.

I've set up some flairs for new post. Starting August 31st, 2026, all post have to include flair related to the topic:

• Buying Suggestion: is for those who are looking for suggestion upon buying W211. Which type should you use, what to check, etc. Basically this flair is to have some insights from other members before buying the car.
• Repair Help: is for those who have any issues with the car and need helps from other members.
• Original Content: is to show off your car! Pics or vid are welcome!
• Repair Guide: is for those who wants to share how they solved their issue and might be useful to other members.
• General Question: this one is to ask about anything else. It can be like fuel recommendation, tyre size recommendation, and so on.
• Tips and Trick: this one can be used if you have some tips or tricks for fellow W211 user. E.g. how to activate AMG menu, or else.
• Discussion: is for discuss anything related to W211.

As for rules, I've set up some pretty basic rules like please keep it about W211, remember to respect others, and to use post flair. We might create some new rules in the future if we have to and with discussion between the moderators. I am open for any suggestions and I believe the other mods are too.
