Visiting Mexico City! Car rental company budget!

Hello everyone, I couldn’t think of a good title. So I arrived to budget rental company in Mexico City today. When I went to get a vehicle, I declined CDW autos but paid Extension CDW LDW Autos TAT**. Did I make a bad decision on declining CDW autos insurance and accepting extension CDW LDW Autos TAT? I don’t understand why CDW Auto was $100 move then Extension CDW LDW Autos TAT. I’m not a Spanish speaker and my bf is the one that decline it cause the rental was $815 if we wanted full coverage for 9 days which I thought that was ridiculous. Did I do the right decision and accept Extension CDW LDW Autos TAT?**
Please help, I’m having severe anxiety that is causing my acid reflux to get worse. And I don’t want our decision to ruin our whole trip of me worrying we will have to pay a lot if we got into an accident. Thank you!!
