Resume Advice? NOT looking for a job ATM, Casino IT

I'm a little over 1 year into my first IT job. I see the daily IT tasks for two of many casinos in my area while my team helps remotely from another property and in person when needed. I plan to look for a job when I have 3 YoE and I'm pursuing the Security+ ATM and CCNA likely later. With that in mind anything you could share? What would you do in my shoes? I'd like to apply for gov't and defense jobs in the future primarily, thank you.
