Chinese Herbs

Anyone here tried Huang Lian Jie Du Tang or Xiao Yao San chinese herbs for IC? My acupuncturist recommended as she said she suffered from IC and panic attacks (same as me) and now has no symptoms. I am an IC sufferer of 26 years and am ready to try something other than Western Medicine. Also having acupuncture weekly now along with the herbs.
