Here is a rewrite that keeps your exact phrasing, meaning, and flow intact while tightening up the spelling, grammar, and formatting for Reddit.

I know there are at least 50 threads about matchmaking every day, but I feel this issue is significantly worse in Diamond and above.

Maybe it is just my personal experience, but I barely experienced griefing below Platinum. Even if one team was better than everyone else, you could usually try to avoid them until the final round and play smart. Also, the instances of a single team being SO much better than anybody else were rare, like once every 10-20 games, not every other game.

This isn't the case in high ranks anymore. It got to a point where once it was clear we were in a game with a 3-stack of Rubies, it made more sense to play bad and be last, because they will grief us in. I literally did that on purpose for several games and managed to get carried to the finals this way. No one in the lobby had any fun. Within two minutes, everyone realized who the team to avoid was (mostly because they were streaming), so those teams would ditch their cash, or leave just one person there, and go kill the entire lobby. Take a look at the screenshot above. Most of the games were like that. This Light had 33 kills in two rounds.

Embark: you are allowing LITERAL professional teams that compete for hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money to terrorize players who just want to play some ranked. None of these issues would exist if you simply limited high ranks to solo-queue above Diamond, which every other competitive game already realized and implemented.

I don't mind playing against players who are much better than me. That is an amazing experience to learn from, but the match has to be balanced. If each of those top players were split equally into different teams, the game would be much more enjoyable for everyone involved, and probably more so for the Ruby team too because they would actually have a challenge.

First weekend as low Diamond... More than half my games today had a single ruby team that was at least 30k RS more than the 2nd team, dominating the entire lobby
