Wholesome Sunday with my college aged brother

This was the last weekend my brother was home before going away for college. This evening he wanted to go to the gym with me and I agreed. We had a solid lift doing chest and shoulders with a little tricep finisher. For sure pushed myself to the limits.

After the lift as we changed and rinsed off it hit me like a freight train, my younger brother wasn’t just a kid anymore. He was a man. We moved to the sauna and sat there for almost forty-five minutes talking about college life, our dreams, and aspirations, and it was in those moments that I realized he was growing up and finding his path in the world. Definitely a proud big brother moment. Those moments you don’t get if there is no communal camaraderie that you get in the shower/sauna.
