Hot take: I genuinely don’t understand why people like Thor so much

He seems to have all the worst traits people dislike in OP characters combined into one character

1. He tremendously overpowered - Superman is frequently the character that gets this criticism most but not Thor for some reason. Thor (at least according to his fans) can do basically anything

2. He doesn’t have any actual weaknesses - even Superman has kryptonite. Thor doesn’t have any discernible weaknesses or disadvantages I can possibly think of. Making an already overpowered character even stronger

3. His weapon doesn’t even have clear rules - Mjolnir is taken usually to be either some kind of tremendous feat of strength or warrior mentality except it’s kinda neither? If it were purely a strength feat Hulk would definitely be able to lift it but he can’t. If it were purely a measure of warrior ethos surely people like Spiderman or Ironman could lift it but they can’t either. The only logical explanation is the hammer picks of it likes you or not

4. His movies are remarkably mid - they aren’t absolutely terrible but I’d never call any of the Thor movies among the best in the MCU

5. I couldn’t name you three Thor villains or two Thor storylines from the comics

I don’t hate Thor but I can’t fathom why people enjoy this character so much
