Does anyone “pay tithing” to an actually good organization?

I love my 10% raise, but I can’t escape the nagging irritation that I donated so much money to an organization that did so much harm. Especially since at the time I thought I was helping so many people and increasing my chances for blessings.

I’ve been thinking about doing a regular donation to some human rights organizations. Nothing huge, but just a little bit to feel like my money is actually helping people.

Has anyone else done this? What organizations did you choose and why?
