Microneedling Depth

I recently added microneedling back into my normal routine but I still can't find any clear answer on how deep to go or how much pressure to use.

Right now I'm going to about 1.2mm on a ten-ish day cycle, pressing just hard enough to make sure the needles go in. This usually results in a few spots of pinpoint bleeding but otherwise just redness. Is any sign of bleeding too much, and if so what should my routine look like?

(To clarify ahead of time, this is in addition to topical/oral minoxidil and oral dutasteride.)
