Just Started Reading SS

I just started reading Shadow Slave exactly 7 days ago and i am on chapter 230 (im slightly obsessed right now).

I haven’t read a webnovel/novel in a very long time, but i read a lot of mangas/manhwas/manhuas. I went into SS only knowing that it has a huge popularity within the webnovel community. It just released the manhwa but I was like there’s gotta be more to it.

Long story short, I am absolutely hooked! My imagination has not been this active since i was in kid reading novels. The descriptive story telling, the slow and steady development and the depiction of Sunny’s thought process and how he sees both the world/spell and others behaviors is amazing. The plot twists are great, some of the plots has their cliches, and then there’s those moments where you go Wow. SS has a lot of Wow, factor to it. Can’t wait to keep reading!

P.S: One of the moments i did not expect was when Auro of the Nine was going to kill Sunny and Sunny was the perpetrator in poisoning them. I thought it could happen but not the poison part, especially bcos it was only briefly mentioned about the berries being poisonous. Also Soul Devourer Tree really showed that Cassie sees A LOT MORE than she shares and i have a good feeling (please no spoilers) that she is basically controlling sunny/neph.
