Ep 3 Ending Interview

Let me start off by saying I loved the episode. However, At the end of Ep 3, we get writers and actors discussing the show and one of the writers discussed how she relates to the family and says, “They did the best they could”and that John’s father was a perfect candidate because of that fear. I and I felt John also felt that his parents are just outrageously crazy 😂John’s Father is actually a horrible candidate. Him not being chosen sent him into a drunken spiral where he’s unloading a gun in the house and then manipulates his son his entire life to become something he couldn’t, and he’s a good candidate to be the protector of the galaxy? He at no point showed the ability to be fearless or to be able to overcome great fear.
