Coming to visit with two young children

Hello! Sorry for another one of those I’m coming to visit posts. I personally enjoy sharing any local knowledge I have in New Orleans and I’m hoping some kind people on this page may be willing to do the same.

I’m a teacher and single mom coming for a few days in October with my two young children. We are planning to go to the beach, go to rainforest cafe, tbd what else. I started looking on air bnb and moved into the hotel choices. We would love to stay on the beach (hotel or air bnb) and I’m looking for somewhere that will be comfortable, affordable, and clean. On site pool/swimming would be a plus but the beach is the main thing we are looking for. They are 4 and 6 years old. Thank you in advance for any tips and insight you might be willing to share!! 🙏🙏
