I struggle Religious OCD and fear converting to Catholicism

Hello! I am a cradle Baptist raised to believe that venerating saints/ mary isn’t ok. I have serious issues with Protestantism because of the lack of structure, tradition, and church authority.

I know for a fact I struggle with religious OCD/ scrupulosity.

My question for yall is have any of you guys struggled with religious OCD and obsessed over the confusing nature of Protestantism and dis you find more spiritual peace / rest in Catholicism?

I’m afraid that if I convert to Catholicism I will obsess over if I am in a constant state of grace or not and I am afraid I will obsess whether what I do is considered venial/ mortal etc.

I just want to be assured in my relationship with God and I am struggling to understand soteriology within Protestantism when it seems everyone within it has a different fine print of the gospel.
